Palaio Faliro is located southwest of Athens and is one of the most popular seaside municipalities of the southern suburbs. It borders Kallithea, Nea Smyrni, Alimos, and Agios Dimitrios, while its coastline stretches along Poseidonos Avenue. The area combines proximity to the center of Athens with the feel of a seaside suburb, making it particularly attractive for permanent residence.

The city offers extensive green and recreational areas, the most notable being Flisvos Marina, ideal for seaside walks, cycling, and family activities. The area also features neighborhood parks, playgrounds, and Edem Beach, which attracts swimmers and walkers throughout the year.
